For Sale Dune Buggy/ Sand Car 5 seater!
This is a 2009, custom built, 5 seat sand car/dune buggy, with less
than 500 miles on it. It has a Ford 5.0 liter High Output engine and a
Ford C-6 automatic transmission. The rear end is a Ford 9 bolt with 5.43
gears. Lots of torgue for serious fun and playing. This vehicle is
considered a mid power/mid travel design. It has 18 inches of travel at
all 4 wheels, due to the Fox 2.5 coil over, reservoir shocks and
suspension geometry.
Rear tires are new, offroad 33X12.5s, on chrome mag rims. It also
comes with 2 sets of paddle tires, size 16X15, with a set of chrome mags
for them. The sand paddle tires have damage, but are usable. Thee front
tires are 275X15 street tires on chrome mag rims, but also include 1
set of smoothies for the sand.
This vehicle has air suspension seats to seat 5 comfortably, with 4
point restraints at each position. It has a B & M shifter and a
rear, fin mounted radiator. The transmission cooler is located up front,
just in front of the engine. It has a massively strong rack and pinion
steering system and 4 very bright Hella off-road driving lights. The
steering wheel is of the removable type, for ease of entry and security.
The vehicles body panels are all aluminum. They are covered in
CamoClad Morning Wood vinyl camo in a black, grey and white pattern. The
vinyl camo is removable and the body panels can be polished to a mirror
shine, if desired.
This vehicle comes with an extra Ford 5.0 liter High Output engine
w/computer. It probably needs the seals replaced. A vehicle tow bar is
available for it.
